Hand colored lithograph by Nathaniel Currier entitled "Death of Washington, Dec. 14 A.D. 1799" showing the president on his deathbed, a physician with his finger on Washington's pulse, surrounded by family, friends, and servants.. The caption above the title identifies persons shown as: "Lady Washington & Grandchildren, Gen. Washington, Family Physician, Quaker, an intimate friend of Washington, Domestics". Below title: "Lith. & Pub. by N. Currier, 2 Spruce St., N.Y." Not examined out of frame. Toning, minor foxing. Cracks, minor losses to veneer of frame. Frame, approx. 20 5/8" x 17 1/4". Sight, 13 1/4" x 9 1/2".
