This piece was made after the commissioned piece by President Ronald Reagan, "on the occasion of the Summit meeting of December 8, 1987 held in Washington, D.C. The original Sculpture was presented by President Ronald W. Reagan in the name of the people of the United States to General Secretary of the Soviet Union Mikhail S. Gorbachev and to the people of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics." This limited edition is number 53. Measures 26" high x 20" wide x 16" deep. Also includes a 27 minute historical film on the Boehm Porcelain Art Exhibit in Moscow, U.S.S.R. opened by Madame Raisa Gorbachev. Condition- Missing two (2) doves and only two (2) doves are attached. The globe and base are in good condition. One (1) of the detached doves is in good condition.
