Description
Circa 1765, a five leg example with ball and claw feet below cabriole legs with acanthus carved front knees below a serpentine frieze with gadrooned molding, all below the conforming top with single leaf that opens to reveal a green felt covered top with square corners for candlesticks and four oval wells. Purchased in 1983 from Bernard & S. Dean Levy Inc. The table was advertised in the March 1981 issue of Antiques Magazine (see photo of ad) .
Dimensions:33 3/4" x 34" in the open position and 17" x 34" closed. The height when closed is 27 3/4".

Condition
Missing the secret drawer that was located at the rear behind the swing leg. There is an old patch to the exterior of one rear leg. Expected wear to the top with old scratches and abrasions, also a few dark stains.
