The Dali Portfolio: This lot is one of the 40 Images of the Bible, was an exclusive world edition from the ars mundi Collection. These 40 Paintings were produced by Salvador Dali during the years 1964-1969. They have been produced for this portfolio as high quality, classic original art prints in 6-15 colors, embellished with gold and bronze. The printing techniques used are both costly and complex and it carries a very high value. The individual prints were produced in 1985 in the lithographic workshop of Rizzoli Editore in Milan, using special 170 gr. multi-coat matte art paper. The Dali portfolio was offerecd for a limited time only, 1/1/86 to 12/31/86. Signed in the Plate and signature printed on the Matt.
