Chinese Export gilt lacquer sewing box, Qing Dynasty (19th c.), octagonal form, decorated with panels depicting elders in a village landscape, the hinged lid opening to a partitioned tray lifting out to storage well, with lower drawer and gilt bronze paw feet, 6"h x 12"l x 8.5"w
