Tibetan 16th/17th Cent. Gilt Bronze Vajradhara Seated Buddha 8.5''x5.5''. Museum quality gilt bronze and jeweled dhyanasana on a decorated double lotus base. Foliate tiara and flanked by two lotus stalks adorned with vajra and bell. Incised inscription on front of base translates to ''homage to Dorje Chang''. Some missing turquoise jewels. Collection of W. Gordon Menzies, Seattle.
