An American Coin Silver Tankard/Pitcher

Description
A circa 1750-60 century New York City silver tankard that was converted to a pitcher some time during the nineteenth century . Research by a previous owner that we cannot verify suggests that the initials at the top of the handle indicate William Smith 1728-1793 (Loyalist, Provincial Congress, New York).

Dimensions: 10" from handle to spout, the foor is 5 1/4" in diameter and the height is 7 1/4". The approximate weight is 35 troy ounces.
Condition
Overall good with expected wear, there is wear at the handle created by the thumb piece when the lid is opened and a partial crack to the top edge where the handle connects.
