1971 Hanukkah a Franklin Mint Holiday Sterling Silver

Lot 0509 Details

Description
1971 Hanukkah a Franklin Mint Holiday Sterling Silver Medal Proof Limited Edition. The 1971 Hanukkah holiday is commemorated by Ernest Schroeder\'s handsome medallic sculpture featuring the menorah - symbol of the eight days of Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights. This is the second year in which The Franklin Mint has struck a silver proof medal to mark the special Hanukkah season. The holiday medals of The Franklin Mint have become an annual tradition since they were first issued in 1965. New designs are created each year, and are never minted again, thus increasing their potential value as collectors items.
