Description
Salvador Dali (SPANISH / FRANCE, 1904 - 1989) artist proof color woodcut engraving on Rives paper titled "Paradise 9" or or "The Heaven of Venus" from the "Divine Comedy" series. Pencil signed to lower right andmarked "g.a. F" to lower left. Mounted in a black veneer wooden frame with mat behind acrylic screen. Paper measures approx. 13" height x 10 1/4" width (33cm x 26cm). Measures approx. 25" height x 22 1/2" width(63.5cm x 57.1cm) overall including frame. Provenance: acquired from a Boca Raton, Florida estate. Originally purchased from Part West Gallery and includes certificate of authenticity with appraisal.
