SIMONS BROTHERS 10K GOLD AND GOLD-FILLED THIMBLES, LOT OF SEVEN, chased and engraved patterns, consisting of six examples tested 10K, including three with scroll bands, a twelve-panel band, a landscape, and a rosette band; along with a gold-filled plain band. Each with maker's mark in apex, two with monograms. Gold weight: 23.7 grams total. Note: Two tested 10K gold examples display Simons' gold-filled trefoil mark as listed in John J. von Hoelle's "New International Edition Thimble Collector's Encyclopedia", p. 299. Late 19th to mid 20th century. 13/16" and 7/8".
