Original 1890 Axel Herman Haig (Sweden 1835-1921) Pencil Signed Etching "Arab Students, Cairo." In frame measures 31"x24"x1". Weight 9 pds. PROVENANCE: A Charleston SC Private Estate. Axel Herman Haig; was a Swedish-born artist, illustrator and architect. His paintings, illustrations and etchings, undertaken for himself and on behalf of many of the foremost architects of the Victorian period made him "the Piranesi of the Gothic Revival."
