Pasted-in stamp of the "Jack Palance Collection 2007" on first blank, likely from the auction of the deceased actor's estate in 2007. Stansbury's important exploration of the Great Salt Lake Basin and his report on the newly established Mormon settlements, as well as the routes and passes through the Rockies for emigrants and possibly a railroad.
