GEORGIAN ENGLISH STERLING SILVER ARTICLES, LOT OF TWO, comprising a meat/game skewer by William Eley & William Fearn of London with an 1804 date mark and a fiddle-handled stuffing spoon by William Welch II of Exeter with an 1824 date mark. Each with impressed maker's mark and four hallmarks of a date mark, a lion passant for sterling fineness, a city mark, and a duty mark for King George III or King George IV. Total weight: 5.720 ozt. First quarter 19th century. 12" and 12 5/8" LOA.Each with expected wear and surface scratches from age and use; skewer with scattered nicks to edges and tip, ring is out of round; spoon with a few minor dents to bowl.
