Set of four. "Times of the Day: Morning, Noon, Evening, Night", marked in lower margin "Publish'd by Wm. Hogarth March 15th. 1738. According to Act of Parliament." Re-engraving on "Evening" done by B. Baron., so circa 1800 re-issue. Humorous genre scenes of life in London. In blackened mahogany box frame with gold liner, matted under UV plexiglas, OS: 27 1/4" x 23 1/2", Impressions: 19" x 15 1/2", fine condition, other than one spot at top of "Evening", not examined out of frames. Scratches to frames.
