Description
A pair, circa 1810, of possibly Flight, Barr & Barr Worcester? or Royal Crown Derby? Fine English porcelain hand painted "Imari" square form Japonisme / Orientalist bowls having an urn with flowers design to center. Accented throughout with rust red, cobalt blue and gold gilt tones throughout over white ground. Hints of a Famille rose palette pink can also be seen iin a food lion and rock formations and tree trunks. A turquoise color accents cranes and butterflies. Bottom of one plate holds a The Art Exchange label. Each measures approx. 8 3/4" length x 8 1/2" width x 1 5/8" height (22.2cm x 21.6cm x 4.1cm)
