A handsome Victorian - Edwardian CH.F. Tissot & Fils Locle, open face, pocket watch, in 14Kt gold, Switzerland, circa 1890 - 1910.
The fine 14 karat yellow gold case has been decorated with beautiful floral patterns. The gold dial has bold black Arabic numerals and a pair of dark blue hands.
The watch is in excellent antique condition; having all its original parts inside and out and keeping good time. The watch is unhinged with both the front crystal and back case able to pop off. It weighs approximately 54.91 grams and measures 2.24 inches (5.7 cm) long by 1.57 inches (4.7 cm) wide by 0.24 inches (0.6 cm) deep. The face is marked CH.F. TISSOT & FILS LOCLE. The inner case bears the Swiss hallmark for 14K gold, 402034, 56 , 14k and 0,585. The manual winding movement is marked CH.F. TISSOT & FILS LOCLE. The watch was fully serviced in November 2016.
