The lot comprising:
Elgin pocket watch, 14K gold engraved case set with four diamonds to fleur-de-lis (32 grams gross), interior marked WARRANTED 14K U.S. ASSAY, J.K.;
14K gold and enamel necklace, which features removable tasseled brooch (54 grams gross);
14K gold, silver, and enamel broach with four seed pearls (14 grams gross);
14K gold and silver ring set with five seed pearls.
Note: This jewelry suite is known to have been in Empress Carlota's jewelry collection, as related by Roger N. Conger's article "The Maximilian Collection," The Texas Ranger Annual, Volume II, 1983, page 21.
