Description
Lincoln & Johnson: Jugate Grand National Banner. Small folio [9 1/2" x 13 1/2" sight] hand-colored lithograph published by Currier & Ives in 1864, titled "Grand, National Union Banner For 1864. Liberty, Union and Victory." Amply colored in rose, yellow, cyan and powder blue. Housed in a period ogee frame (not examined out of frame). At some point in time, the print was matted, resulting in a lighter area around the outer border, while the exposed area is lightly or evenly toned (sunned).
