Description

Details: Mounted original c.1872 hand-colored Currier and Ives lithograph.

Depicts, "The Celebrated Trotting Mare Flora Temple, driven by James D. McMann. She entered in 95 races, winning 75, received forfeit 5, and 2 drawn. Best time in harness mile heat 2:19 3/4; two mile heats 4:50 1/2 to wagon: mile heats 2:25."

Measures 17" wide by 14" high.
Condition / Notes: This antique lithograph shows nicely, with mild fading, toning and foxing. Has not been removed from mounting for further inspection.
