CURRIER & IVES CIVIL WAR HISTORICAL PRINT, hand-colored lithograph on paper, titled "GENL MEAGHER AT THE BATTLE OF FAIR OAKS, VA JUNE 1ST 1862". Housed under glass in an old molded-wood frame. Together with "THE LIFE & AGE OF MAN", published by N. Currier, housed under glass in a 19th-century frame. Two pieces total. Third quarter 19th century. Battle scene 11 5/8" x 13 1/2" sight, 14 5/8" x 16 5/8" OA.
Each print with toning, foxing, and areas of staining/discoloration. Frames with minor wear and losses. Not examined out of frames.
Provenance: Property from the private collection of Audrey "Dolly" and the late William "Billy" Journell, Leesburg, VA.
