Mettlach Stein No. 1527
Designed: Christian Wrath
Date: 1890
Dimension: One half liter, 7.4” hgt x 4.5” wd
Original pewter thumb-lift and an inlaid lid which is ornately etched with a crested chalice motif, finely beaded.
Condition: good exterior, rich deep colors of matte and glossy glazed. Interior has hair line fracture not affecting outside of stein – see photo.
