This rare lithograph is an early portrayal of California vaqueros hunting buffalo. The print measures 21” x 29.5”, and contains many toned spots. As well, there is some dampstaining that affects the border of the print, but nothing that severely hampers the image. The print is beautifully colored, and bears impressive details regarding the early days of California. This print is in the collection of the Berkeley Library of rare prints related to the early West, specifically California.
