Comprising a teapot (w. 6 in.) and coffee pot (h. 6 in.) of small size, a covered sugar and open sugar, 2 open creamers, 4 teacups and 4 octagonal saucers, a round charger with figures in a harbor scene (dia. 13 in.) and 2 serving trays with handles, one decorated with a scene of three women, the other without a decorative scene (each 18-3/4 x 11 in.), all with deep cobalt glaze and raised deocration
Provenance: From the estate of the late Joan E. Black, Bronxville, NY; Mrs. Black was a friend of Sandra V. Bondhus, author of "Quimper Pottery: French Folk Art Faience," and often purchased items from auctions that Ms. Bondhus cataloged.
