Ca. 100-300 AD A bronze hand mirror with a circular plate and round-section collared handle that ends in a loop finial. Mirrors such as these were important luxury items in the Roman world. These items were predominately owned by elite women who would have used them in order to aid or check the application of cosmetics. Size: L:244mm / W:136mm ; 234.32g Provenance: Private UK collection; from an old London collection formed in the 1980s.
