Item Details
Description
This pitcher was turned by Cleater Meaders (b1921-d2003) Jr of GA (married to still living potter Billie Meaders). Son of Cleater Meaders Sr. and father of folk potter Clete Meaders III. Turned & fired early in his career (hence the 1985 date). Great & uncommon tableware for him. He created pots for about 2 decades of his lifetime. After the first several years, his wife joined him to make many of their pots jointly. Pitcher with lid, signed and dated on bottom. Dimensions 7.5" x 9.25" tall with lid.
