Description
Ruby Meaders (b1916-d2018), daughter of potters Cheever & Arie, was the last Meaders sibling of her generation when she passed away at age 101. She was also the only sister of Lanier, Nub (Edwin), John, and Reggie that also turned pots. This face jug is within the first year of her turning pots. And she continued making pots for about a decade or tad longer. Her careful attention to detail in features is top notch. Signed on bottom and dated 1999. Stands 8" tall.
