MICHAEL GATES POTTERY MINI FACE JUG PITCHER
Item Details
Description
Michael Gates, great-grandson of potter Enoch Reinhardt, has been one of the finest folk potters of NC in the recent decade. His slip trail decoration rivals Matt Jones one could say. And recently the Gates family moved from Elk Park up to near Jones in Buncombe Co coincidentally. We love both of them. For Michael, this is about 1/2 dozen years old and earlier after he returned to making pots. He enjoyed seeing it when we shared a picture with him. Stamped w/ his current Michael Gates Pottery stamp on the back base. Alkaline glaze signed on back. Stands 3" tall.
Condition
Excellent condition. All pottery is inspected and we do our best to note any issues. Please call the gallery for full condition report, see all photos. All sales are final.
