A PAIR OF GEORGE III SILVER BASTING SPOONS
Mark of William Eley & William Fearn, London, 1817
In the Old English pattern engraved with initials, together with a pair of silver table spoons, mark of JW, London, 1791, a single Irish George III table spoon, mark of MS, Dublin, 1779, and a pair of berry spoons, mark of MC, London, 1834, the basting spoons: 29.5cm (11 1/2in) long, weight 18.5oz. (7)
Condition
Overall good condition.
Displaying general surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use.
Hallmarks legible.
The tip of one basting spoon with some wear.
The berry spoons later decorated.
