A COLLECTION OF CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN FROM THE NANKING CARGO
Mid-18th century
Comprising:
Two 'Flying Geese' saucer dishes, decorated with a pagoda by a river, 17.5 cm (7in) diam.;
Six 'Leaping Boy' saucer dishes in sizes, the largest 29 cm (11.5in) diam.;
And two further similar examples with wavy rims, 29 cm (11.5in) diam.;
Two 'Boatman' plates, with river landscape, 23.5 cm (9in) diam.;
A small pot, 16 cm. (6in) over handle;

Together with two large and one small baluster-shaped lidded jars decorated with prunus pattern, the smaller example with character mark, (16)

Condition
Overall in good condition.
There are some minor marks, nicks and scratches overall.
The Nanking cargo items in typical slightly weathered condition, with some minor frits and small chips around the rims. Each with original Nanking Cargo sticker to the underside. Two plates having the outline of further decoration, now lacking.
