Item Details

Description

Sam Newton (American, b.1948). An original seascape oil painting on board. A Florida Highwayman coastal sea landscape, with rolling crashing waves on a beachscape, rocks, birds in flight, and rain from a storm. Artist signed to lower right. The artist was influenced by Albert Beanie Backus and the Indian River School. From a private Palm Beach Collection. Presented in a wood frame.

Work Size: 18 x 24 in.

Dimensions: 20 X 26.25 X 1 in.

Condition: Good overall condition having normal surface wear. Frame having storage surface wear to edges and corners. Estate fresh to the market.
