Item Details

Description

George III English sterling silver tea caddy by Samuel Herbert & Co. London, 1766. Claw feet and subtle floral repousse, the body also has bird/wings engraved on the largest sides. The top is removable and has floral finial. Engraved crest to one side of wings, the other side with a griffin. Silver hallmarks to underside.
