Reagan, Ronald. AN AMERICAN LIFE (Riverside, NJ: Simon & Schuster, 1990).

First edition signed by Ronald Reagan. # 0234 /2000. Bound in publisher's deluxe binding of full blue morocco, front cover and spine ruled and stamped in gilt, two raised bands, marbled end-leaves, all edges gilt. Housed in the original publisher's custom-made oak box with the Presidential Seal embossed in gilt on the top of the hinged lid, and lined in royal blue velveteen. The front drawer houses six audio cassettes of President Reagan's speeches.

This copy includes letter from Office of the Press Secretary, dated February 1, 1982, that states President Reagan's intention to nominate James G. Stearns to be a member of the Board of Directors of the Securities Investor Protection Corporation.
