Spode Copeland, fifty-nine piece partial "Queen Mary" (pattern introduced circa 1925) dinner service, each piece having a pink lip with reserves decorated with birds and flowers, centering a figural landscape scene, comprising: twenty-one plates (8.75"), twelve plates (7.5"), ten tea cups (2.5"), eleven saucers (5.5"), one platter (14.75"), one muffin dish (8.75"), and one mayonnaise bowl and underplate (2.75"), all appropriately marked with pattern R4434 and retail marks for Thomas Goode and Davis Collamore. Provenance: From the Blakely Estate, Buford, Georgia.
Condition
Three tea cups with slight staining; utensil marks to platter; crack and chip to underplate; some firing, transfer, and glaze imperfections; no other apparent chips, cracks, or restorations.
