Two Similar Sets of Four George II/III Sterling Silver Open Salt Cellars
One set London, 1749 and the other set David and Robert Hennell, London, 1765
Each cauldron-form with rocaille rim raised on three hoof feet. Diameters 3 inches (7.5 cm), total approximately 20 ounces.

1749 set - maker's marks rubbed; each engraved with a crest, one over a patched hole; one with foot mark and repair showing to interior
1765 set - each with engraved crest, rubbed; hallmarks rubbed but legible; two showing foot marks to interior
