A pair of identical antique early 19th century vases, lidded amphoras with geometrized handles placed on square pedestals. The vases are painted red and gold and are richly covered with gilt floral ornaments. The body of each vase has a handpainted frieze depiction of domestic cattle, scenes of animals riding carts. The blue beehive hallmarks on the bottom of the items indicate that they were made by Royal Vienna, a famous Austrian porcelain manufacturer. Collectible Antique European Porcelain Decor Items.
