Signed to underside: Garnet Pavatea; Numbered in a different hand: 406
The large canteen with long spout, two handles, and polychrome avian motifs on buff burnished slip glaze
8.5" H x 12" W x 12" D
Condition
Overall good condition with shelf wear, scattered minor scuffs, and inherent firing flaws commensurate with age. Scattered surface scratches and chipping to slip glaze. Two prior created holes to sides under handles. Two hairlines to spout. No evidence of restorations under blacklight.
