Description

Dufour after Merry-Joseph Blondel, French Neoclassical Empire scene from the 'Psyche' wallpaper series depicting lengths 18 to 20: 'Psyche Bringing Venus a Jug of Water from the Fountain of Youth', printed in grisaille, in monumental frame. 83" H x 75" W. Provenance: Property removed from an Upper East Side townhouse.
