One of the highlights of watch manufacture is championing the movement of the watch of which there is no better way to do this than skeletonising the plates to reveal as much of the workings as possible. Vacheron Constantin have continued this art form from their pocket watches to the present day. Using the same techniques and the skills of Masters Watchmaker, Chamferer and Engraver to produce the present example. The exceptional quality and difficulty to do this with a perpetual calendar mechanism makes this watch especially impressive.
