Description

A GROUP OF FIVE BLUE AND WHITE KO-SOMETSUKE 'CHRYSANTHEMUM' DISHES
Tianqi
Each painted with a flowering chrysanthemum branch extending up one side of the dish and the branch continuing to the reverse, the white ground with anhua decoration of lotus sprays.
The largest: 21.9cm (8 5/8in) diam. (5).

Condition

Some warping from the potting. Rim fritting, small rim chips and nibbles. Firing imperfections, some glaze discolouration. Scattered oxide spots and some adhered patches of kiln grit. Kiln grit, firing imperfections and some small chips and nibbles to footrims.
