REED & BARTON STERLING SILVER TEA COFFEE SERVICE SET 45.51 TROY OUNCES Reed & Barton 3 piece sterling silver tea service. All sterling silver hallmarks are present on the bottom. Troy ounce weight 45.51 Sterling. Henry G. Reed and Charles E. Barton first worked together as craftsmen at a small silversmith manufacturing company. They honed their craft while moving up the ranks in the company. In 1824, the men became presidents and re-named the company to Reed & Barton; founding the brand we know today. They carried their deep respect for quality and craftsmanship throughout their career. These values still remain the cornerstones of the Reed & Barton brand.
