Three well-known war illustrators. 1) Two Henry Alexander (Harry) Ogden (New Jersey, New York 1856 - 1936) chromolithograph plates from "Uniforms of the United States Army, 1774-1889" Both signed 'H.A. Ogden' in plate lower left. (17" x15"). 2) F. C. Yohn--Frederick Coffay Yohn (1875-1933), Chattanooga, Tenn, Apr. 30, 1898. "Preparing to Move to Cuba--Ninth Calvary (Colored) Leaving Chihckamauga for Tampa"--Spanish American War. Book lithograph (11" x 16.5"). 3) William Gilbert Gaul (1855[x=#8211/]1919) was a late 19th and early 20th century American painter and illustrator of military subjects.
