ROME (AP) – An Italian museum is lending a fragment of the Parthenon Sculptures to Greece, in what both sides hope will become a permanent return that might encourage others – the British Museum, in particular – to send their own pieces of the works back, too.
Holabird delivered five days of Western treasures in fall sale
RENO, Nev. – Holabird Western Americana Collections’ five-day Autumn Splendor Western Americana Auction, held October 28-November 1, contained more than 3,200 lots of Americana, railroadiana, mining collectibles, numismatics, stock certificates, rare books and art.
